A routine inspection- the landlords snapshot in time

Routine Inspections.

Most insurance companies require routine inspections to be carried out every three months to ensure the landlord meets their obligations. These inspections are an opportunity to ensure the property is well-maintained.

However, speak to many tenants, and you’ll find that these inspections can cause anxiety and dread, as they involve someone entering their home. Inspections can sometimes be seen as intrusive or hostile.

At Kōwhai Coast Property Management, we aim to change this perception and turn a negative experience into a positive one. By respecting tenants’ privacy in regards to access, addressing any concerns, and being proactive with maintenance, we foster a more positive environment. This approach removes any hostility, allowing the property manager to have better freedom to create thorough, diligent, and detailed inspection reports.

With this mindset, we aim to build a win-win situation: tenants enjoy their home, the property is well-maintained, and the landlord receives exceptional service.

If you’d like to receive clear and diligent reporting as standard, reach out to Jules at Kōwhai Coast Property Management.
