Kia ora, I’m Jules, your Warkworth-based property manager.
My journey into property management began out of frustration with the lack of service I was receiving as a landlord of my own rentals when I was still overseas working.
Despite my efforts to grow my rental portfolio, I found myself dealing with poor reporting, hidden costs, subpar property care, and an overall sense of apathy from the property management company I had engaged with.
It felt like I was leaving money on the table and my asset wasn’t being cared for. The turning point came when a vacating tenant shared that they were moving out due to the poor service they received from the property manager I had engaged with.
I was heartbroken.
Determined to do better, I retired my chef whites and entered the property management industry. I spent the last 8 years refining my approach to ensure that landlords and tenants who work with me have the best possible rental experience.
By taking a proactive, hands-on approach to managing properties, tenant care, and focusing on maximising landlords’ rental property performance, I’ve built a reputation for going above and beyond. My goal is simple: to ensure every client I work with is always impressed by the level of service I provide.
Before venturing into property management, I spent 15 years as a chef in some of New Zealand’s finest restaurants and later served clients on some of the world’s largest superyachts. This experience taught me the importance of attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. The mindset of “Good enough is never enough” has become a core philosophy that I apply to every aspect of my property management practice.
Since 2014, I’ve managed my own rental portfolio, gaining valuable insights into what both landlords and tenants need for a successful and stress-free rental experience.
