Kia ora, I’m Jules, your Warkworth-based property manager.
My journey into property management began in 2016 after stepping away from a long career as a chef. Before entering the Property management industry, I spent 15 years working in some of New Zealand’s finest restaurants and later aboard some of the world’s largest superyachts. Along the way, I also built my own rental portfolio and discovered that I genuinely enjoyed working with tenants, managing properties, and improving how rentals performed.
Since moving into property management, I have been driven by one clear goal: to raise the standard of service for both landlords and tenants. Over the past decade, I have seen first-hand that when properties are managed proactively and tenants are well looked after, everyone benefits. Landlords achieve stronger returns, properties are better maintained, tenancies last longer, and the entire rental journey becomes far more stable and stress free.
My approach is hands on and performance focused. I believe property management is not just about collecting rent and reacting to issues, but about actively managing a property to achieve the best possible long-term outcome. That means clear communication, attention to detail, and doing the small things properly from the very start of a tenancy.
The skills I developed as a chef and working in high-end service environments continue to shape how I work today. Attention to detail, going above & beyond, innovation and proactiveness are principles I apply to every property I manage.
I am not only a property manager, but also a landlord myself.
